Rules of the Game

1. Divide into groups of six or less. If you want to be super fair, determine how many teams you will have. If the number of team members is to be four, number the people as they are seated, 1, 2, 3, 4. Then start over, numbering each person. Then you have Team 1, Team 2, and Team 4. I encourage people to give their team a name such as "Rocket Scientists, Brain Surgeons, Mensans, Geniuses, Idiot Savants," etc. Be creative.

2. Give each team two answer sheets, with lines numbered from 1-20. You can link to Trivia Page 2 for the answer sheet, copy and paste it onto your word processor and print as many as you need.

3. Ask the questions. Encourage each team to discuss their answer and make a decision. (Often one person will come up with the correct answer immediately, and the rest of the team will talk him out of it.)

4. After the questions have been asked and people have had time to write their team answer on the answer sheet, restate any question anyone has. Do not give clues. State the question as it it written.

6. Ask each team to trade answer sheets with another team.

5. Ask each question generally. The confident teams will shout out the answer. Then read the correct answer.

6. Give a small gift to the winning team.
