Joe B. Hewitt, BD, MA TMCA Credentialed Distinguished Mediator

Joe B. Hewitt retired in 2001 after 39 years of pastoral ministry in the Dallas area.

Before entering the ministry Hewitt was a newspaper reporter and editor. He covered the police beat, and later the courthouse beat. He also did investigative reporting and went under cover to expose vice and crime.

As a pastor, Hewitt did marriage and family counseling, and conducted marriage enrichment and parenting seminars.

Hewitt received basic mediation training from Nancy Ferrell, PhD; and family training from Glenn Courier.
