Mediations are held in  convenient locations in Dallas, or contiguous counties: Rockwall, Collin, Hunt, Kaufman, Ellis, Tarrant, Denton.

Terms

Fee is payable as follows: $100 non-refundable scheduling fee, due when mediation is scheduled, and the balance before mediation begins. In the event the mediation is cancelled, the non-refundable scheduling fee becomes an administration fee.
 

Family, Divorce, Child Custody, cases: fee based on parties' ability to pay or amount involved in Property Settlement.

Pro Bono Mediations. We do a limited number of pro bono mediations each year. If a Defendant is indigent and his/her attorney is serving pro bono, we will do the mediation at no charge to the indigent Defendant providing the Plaintiff has no objection.

  MEDIATION FEES

Effective January 29, 2009

For Cases with ContestedAmount of More than $20,000, Fee is $500 Per Party for up to Half Day and $400 per party for each additonal half day.

For Cases With Contested Amount of Less than $20,000 but More than $3,000, Fee is $300 Per Party for up to Half Day and $250 per party for each additional half day.

For cases with contested amount of less than $3,000, the fee is $200 per party for up to a half day, and $200 per party for each additonal half day.

For Team Mediation by Joe B. Hewitt and Marona Hewitt as co-mediators, add 75% to the above fees.

DIVORCE MEDIATION

Flexible, depending on how much money is involved, if there are children, etc.

Travel Expenses: Within Dallas and contiguous counties, None. Outside Dallas and contiguous counties, 50 cents per mile, round trip from Rockwall, Texas.
