If you and your spouse can work together, as an alternative to fighting it out in court, you can do the following:
- Sit down together with a your spouse and a mediator who will help you work out the settlement. (The Mediator cannot give legal advice.)
- After the settlement agreement has been reached, you can either file for the divorce yourself, using forms available on line or we can recommend an attorney who will fialize the divorce for a nominal fee.
